#Each1Bring1 - Promoting Women in Sport
Following on from the success of the #Super8 campaign, United World Wrestling in partnership with the Portuguese Wrestling Federation launched the new campaign to bring more females to wrestling - as athletes, coaches, referees and leaders. The launch was a big success and hosted at a conference in collaboration with the Olympic Committee of Portugal, and attended by Lise Legrand (FRA) – Vice President of the French Federation, United World Wrestling Women and Sport Commission member and Olympic Medallist and Lúcás Ó’Ceallacháin – United World Wrestling Development Director, the NOC President, Congressmen, and Board Members of the Portuguese Institute of Youth and Sport.
We are asking for your help. If each of us reach out and bring 1 female to wrestling, we can make a big impact together.
Get your team mates, male and female to help. We can all play our part. You can organise anything - an open training session, a tournament or even just watching a match with your friend who has never seen wrestling.
Don't support this because it's the right thing to do, support it because it's the smart thing to do.
